The Los Angeles Angels have done it again.

Last year it was Albert Pujols. This year, it is the 2010 American League MVP, Josh Hamilton.

Josh Hamilton has signed a 5-year, $125 million dollar contract with the Angels.

As a huge Josh Hamilton fan, I love this deal. In fact, I’m not going to lie, I believe that I will be hopping on the Angels bandwagon. This is a lineup that will be absolutely loaded.

With the likes of Mike Trout and Albert Pujols, just to name a few, this is a lineup that has a ton of power. The Angels are now the favorites to win the AL West and are a scary team when it comes to the World Series.

One thing is certain, this will be a very fun team to watch this season. Especially with an outfield consisting of Trout, Trumbo and Hamilton. Plus you toss Borjeous in the mix, the Angels have arguably the best defensive outfield in baseball.

During today’s press conference, Hamilton seemed to be bothered by the fact the Texas Rangers did not pursue him harder. Right from the get go, Hamilton stated that he would give the Rangers the first chance to resign him.

Hamilton now seems to be on a mission to prove the Rangers wrong when they didn’t resign him. The American League had better take note because now they have to deal with a Josh Hamilton, who is on a serious mission.
