The fight card for this event is weak, however, there a lot of possible set ups for big future fights. I am excited for two matches. The obvious one is TJ’s rematch and Shayna Bazler’s fight against up and comer Bethe Correia should be exciting.
Scott Jorgensen vs Henry Cejudo: Flyweight 125lbs
I believe Scott Jorgensen is going to be technical as usual and wins by Unanimous decision against Henry Cejudo, his first fight in UFC.
Jin pick: Scott Jorgensen, Unanimous
Chris pick: Scott Jorgenen, Submission
Lorenz Larkin vs Derek Brunson: Middleweight 185lbs
I think Lorenz is going to get knocked out by Derek Brunson. Lorenz got KO’d last fight in May. I am not sure if I can trust his chin.
Jin pick: Derek Brunson, KO/TKO
Chris pick: Lorenz Larkin, Decision
Yancy Medeiros vs. Damon Jackson: Featherweight 145 lbs
Just a guess but going with undefeated fighter from LFC.
Jin pick: Damon Jackson, Submission
Chris pick: Yancy Mediros, Unanimous
Shayna Bazler vs Bethe Correia: 135lbs
Shayna Bazler, a Ultimate Fighter alum, lacks aggressiveness. She is an excellent boxer but Bethe
Correia is going to fight up close and possibly take her down every chance she gets.
Jin pick: Bethe Correia, Unanimous
Chris pick: Shayna Bazler, TKO/KO
Ramsey Nijem vs. Carlos Ferreira: 155lbs
Ramsey, Ultimate fighter alum with Tony Ferguson on TUF 13 and a finalist, will use his wrestling and win by majority or unanimous decision.
Jin pick: Ramsey Nijem, Unanimous
Chris pick: Ramsey Nijem, Unanimous
Tony Ferguson vs Danny Castillo: Lightweight 155 lbs
Tony Ferguson, the ultimate Fighter winner, will win and this could be a blood bath.
Jin pick: Tony Ferguson, TKO/KO
Chris pick: Tony Ferguson, TKO/KO
TJ Dillashaw vs. Renan Barao: Bantamweight 135lbs
This fight is going full five rounds. Renan Barao is going to be aggressive but at the same time he will need to connect a few times to get his confidence going. TJ Dillashaw’s main focus is to defend and he will do just that. Keep your hands up TJ and you will stay the Champ.
Jin pick: TJ Dillasaw, Unanimous
Chris pick: Renan Barao, Decision
