The Lady RedHawks kicked off their 2014-2015 season tonight against the lynx of Lindenwood University at Bellville. Miami came out with some jump but both teams went back and forth for the first 2-3 minutes of the game. Then Miami established their dominance and took over. Rachael Booth got the scoring started just 6:30 into the opening frame when she burried a wrister on a pass from fellow sophmore Kaley Mooney. Just a few minutes later Freshman Carly Noble notched her first career goal in a RedHawk uniform off a feed from Booth. Hayley Williams then followed that up with her first career goal as a RedHawk to round out the first period and a RedHawk lead at 3-0. Shots in the first were 21-9 in favor of Miami.
