In just over a month, the UFC will invade the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. Once the State of New York passed legislation legalizing mixed martial arts, it was only a matter of time before rumors would get going on when and who would fight on this much anticipated card. Every year, the UFC scheduled MSG in hopes that New York would finally legalize the sport. Once they did, UFC 205 was born. Numerous fighters campaigned to Dana and the UFC brass to be on this special card. This week, Dana White finalized what could be the greatest card in UFC history.
The main card features three title fights and the full fight card is littered with names that have headlined pay-per-views and fight cards. The UFC 205 press conference was once again the Conor McGregor show, as he continued to talk trash and sell the event. With such a great card, it will be hard to find a fight that won’t live up to expectations.
