Another week in the books and after a great and exciting week one, week two has a lot to live up to. Some of the biggest programs in the sport, put their stamp on their games. Georgia demolishing Oregon was one of the biggest surprises, while Ohio State knocking off Notre Dame was a big victory for the Buckeyes. Some other teams have put themselves in a spot to enter the top 10 or even top 25 with another win.

The Florida Gators took care of business at home against Utah and that victory has faulted them back into the rankings. Are the Florida Gators back? That will remain to be seen but some of the big programs that had fallen off, are slowly making their way back into the college football picture.

With another exciting week of college football ahead, lets take a look at what is on tap.

This is a week where the schedule isn’t heavy on huge games. With that being said, there are a few key games that are on the Saturday slate. To get things going, Alabama travels to Austin to face the Texas Longhorns in the biggest game of the week. This is a huge measuring stick game for the Longhorns. A blowout loss to Alabama could be detrimental to Texas. After a tough loss to North Carolina, Appalachian State is looking to rebound on a positive note. A trip to sixth ranked Texas A&M is what is on tap for App State. Can they rebound with a massive upset victory? There are three key rivalry games this week as well. A rare in-state trip for the Colorado Buffaloes as they head an hour south to Colorado Springs, to face the Air Force Falcons. This will be a huge game for both teams. A victory for Air Force will be huge over the big brother in the state, while a loss for Colorado will send them to 0-2 on the season. Another big rivalry game is for the CyHawk trophy when the Iowa State Cyclones head to Iowa to face the Hawkeyes. After a massive win over top 10 Utah, the Florida Gators host the 20th ranked Kentucky in a big SEC matchup. Another two night games see USC traveling to Stanford and Baylor heading west to face BYU. These are the big games that are at the forefront of the Saturday schedule.
