Finally after some major matchups this past weekend, there was a shakeup within the rankings. Top ranked Moeller went on the road and knocked off St. Xavier in one of the best games this season. In another massively anticipated game, Lakota West handled Princeton with little difficulty. Princeton who had been rapidly ascending, were knocked back to reality after Tom Bolden and his Lakota West team took care of business. Back in the GCL, Elder knocked off Louisville St. Xavier to gain back momentum before they head to face the local St. Xavier team.

Both Kings and Winton Woods got major victories, each by the score of 41-7, just weeks before they face off next weekend. Kings demolished a solid Milford team, who was making a name for themselves, while Winton Woods flexed their muscle against Little Miami. Both ECC teams have a trap game this weekend before their much hyped matchup in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Showdown.

The lone non-Ohio team and Kentucky power, Beechwood, took a stumble, falling to Covington Catholic. The loss gave Beechwood their first of the season.
