This college football season has been filled with excitement and that looks to continue this week. Last week saw ranked teams in some battles while other top teams had little resistance in their matchups. Kentucky, BYU and Washington were ranked teams that were handed defeat at the hands of unranked opponents. The Tennessee Volunteers have been the biggest surprise this season and came away with a huge 40-13 demolition of LSU last week. Tennessee has three victories over ranked opponents this season. Pittsburgh, Florida and now LSU have all fallen victim to the rising Tennessee team. The other surprise team this season, the Kansas Jayhawks were in one of the most featured games of last weekend. A ranked matchup against TCU. As expected, the game was exciting from beginning to the end, with TCU coming out on top in Lawrence. Those were just some of the big results that occurred this past weekend.

With another exciting week of college football ahead, lets take a look at what is on tap.
