Once again, this is a season with serious expectations and a lot of intrigue for the Cincinnati Bengals. With the current window for a championship run closing rapidly, there is a sense of urgency for this Bengals team to perform. This season is perfect for the Bengals and company to make some noise for what could be a long playoff run. This schedule does post some challenges, including a brutal three game stretch against the Falcons in Madrid and two straight primetime games against Pittsburgh and Washington respectively. For starters, the Bengals will play two of their first five games on the road, before an early bye week. The opening five weeks are set up for the Bengals to start this season off on a very positive note. A 4-1 start is not out of the question with the week 2 game at Houston being a difficult one. The last five games of the season will be tough but could help make the Bengals be a battle-tested team as they head into the playoffs. The offense is enough for the Bengals to roll through this schedule and the massively upgraded defense will help propel this team to what fans hope to be a Super Bowl winning season.
