The City of Mason and Warren County have held serve, keeping one of the best events in the entire region, here for at least the next 25 years. The danger of the Western and Southern Open leaving for Charlotte, North Carolina, was real and imminent. The owners of the tournament, Beemok Capital, purchased the tournament from the USTA in 2022 and despite the huge success each and every year locally, Beemok Capital was going to move the tournament to Charlotte.

The Western & Southern Open is one of the nation’s largest tennis tournaments and one of the longest-running. Not only does the event feature the top men’s and women’s players in the world, the tournament is also a warmup for the US Open, which falls approximately a week or two after the conclusion of the Western & Southern Open.

The tournament is truly a gem in this area and is a must experience event for everyone. The quality of play is second to none and the availability/proximity of the players makes it a great spectacle for all ages.

Congratulations to the City of Mason, Warren County and the region for keeping this fantastic tradition alive for at least the next 25 years.
